This celebration, dedicated to the <strong data-start=\"140\" data-end=\"170\">Sant\u00edsimo Cristo del Sudor<\/strong>, is a cultural and family experience in which children and young people play a leading role.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"265\" data-end=\"632\">One of the most special events is the <strong data-start=\"303\" data-end=\"324\">Children\u2019s Parade<\/strong>, where the youngest members of the different <em data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"378\">filaes<\/em> take to the streets in costume, accompanied by marching bands and small fantasy-filled pageants. For many children, this parade is their first opportunity to experience the festivities from within and to learn about their symbols, traditions and values.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"919\">Children also take part in <em data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"673\">El Miracle<\/em>, the theatrical performance that recreates the legend of the Cristo del Sudor. Through educational materials, such as an illustrated comic book designed for colouring, younger audiences can discover the story in an engaging and entertaining way.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"1244\">The festivities also offer the chance to explore Calp\u2019s heritage. Places such as the <strong data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1113\">Torre\u00f3 de la Pe\u00e7a, the Medieval Pobla d\u2019Ifac, the Ba\u00f1os de la Reina, Plaza Mayor and the Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Ifach<\/strong> help connect the events being recreated with the town\u2019s real past. In this way, the streets become a true open-air history lesson.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1462\">For visiting families, the Moors and Christians festivities provide the perfect opportunity to combine festive events with walks through the old town, cultural visits, days at the beach and tastings of local cuisine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1735\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In Calp, children do not simply watch tradition unfold: they parade, perform, learn and experience the festivities as their own.
