In October 2026, Calp celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Moors and Christians Festival<\/strong>, one of the town\u2019s most important traditions. For several days, the streets fill with music, gunpowder, elaborate costumes, parades and historical re-enactments, revealing a very different side of Calp beyond sun and beaches.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights are the Moorish and Christian Grand Parade<\/strong>, the spectacular Landing on Arenal-Bol beach<\/strong>, and El Miracle<\/strong>, a performance closely linked to local history and devotion to the Sant\u00edssim Crist de la Suor. The programme also includes religious events, music and a Children\u2019s Parade that helps keep the tradition alive among younger generations.<\/p>\n

The visit can be completed with a stroll through the old town<\/strong>, the Medieval Pobla d\u2019Ifac<\/strong> and the Ba\u00f1os de la Reina<\/strong>, as well as enjoying the Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Ifach, the beaches and local gastronomy.<\/p>\n

A perfect getaway to discover Calp from a different perspective and celebrate half a century of history, culture and festive tradition by the Mediterranean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
